mirror mirror in the hall mirror hanging on the wall ~ wtf?

passing that mirror hanging on the wall ohhh oh noh no what the heck?

my mother’s face and oh no her neck!

where’d you come from? how’d that come to be?

eyes locked in silence, I can’t believe you’re right here right now, damn it I’ve missed you so

mirror mirror in the hall – mirror hanging on that wall

are you surprised by who you see?

who is that looking back at me? dang, you look like my mom. I know you’re not cuz you’re really just me

I know that time constraints are upon me

as father time shows zero mercy for anyone at all

he smirks as he tosses out the chicken necked gobblers

and wrinkled and cracked eye liners…

I will not acknowledge your asshole ways as you climb into the cracks and crevices you pass over with a cloud of eye irritants and smokey sadness

I am going to look past your vacant stare pretending not to know or care – Pleading the fifth may be the only justice that can be shown to certain things

and whilst pleading ignorance, I’ll climb back into the bed of my favorite pillows and cozy stuff surrounding my being with chicken feathers and ducky down

chicken little chicken little don’t you dare tell ducky lucky and goosey lucy that things aren’t as easy as they seem to be they worry so so much it isn’t necessary

until I can accept the sadness & the ways, the carelessness father time continually shows as he owns nothing but lackadaisical attitudes attributes and with a blatant lack of enthusiasm, the down-right ‘I just don’t give a fuck’ attitude; you wear it well stinkin old man ‘mother-fucker’ pew pew pew literally the stank of the old envelopes you as it clings to your heels like a dirty shadow, bathe bathe and scrub yourself with a fresh wire brush
